Tinika Emerson
Hello, my name is Tinika Emerson and I am from Cincinnati, Ohio. I am a mother of two and a wife, as well as an educator for the Cincinnati Public School District for 10 years. As part owner of Emerson Housing with my husband, we have created a nonprofit organization to better serve our clients and the community through affordable housing solutions. With over a decade of experience in education and expertise in property management, we aim to provide holistic support services to families and individuals seeking quality homes at reasonable rates.
I am truly honored to share my next business venture with you all, thanks to our amazing God and my husband. My husband has been clean for 19 years, and I've always admired his courage in overcoming addiction. For the past 14 years together, he shared his story and struggles, inspiring me every day.
With gratitude to our incredible God and my supportive husband, I announce my newest entrepreneurial pursuit. My spouse celebrates 19 years of sobriety, a journey that fills me with pride.
Every year on his sobriety day, I gift him a card and small gift to recognize every milestone and year of clean living. However, I've never found a card specifically for sobriety, which bothers me because these accomplishments deserve celebration and recognition. To fix this problem, I created my own line of greeting cards called Felts Expressions dedicated to my husband and others like him who have overcome obstacles along their journey towards recovery. Felts Expression is more than just a name it signifies the growth in life that we all experience when facing our struggles.
